Mangalore, Mar 26: The annual day celebrations of Mangalore Institute of Fashion Technology (MIFT) will be held on Wednesday March 26.  The annual day will commence with the Final Collection at Town Hall.  More than 100 collections of MIFTians will be presented in the form of fashion show. Its designs are the result of the designer’s skill and efforts mixed with the teachers’ guidance.

This was announced in a press conference by MIFT principal Kasturi Shetty here on Monday 26 morning.

MIFT established in 1996, under the guidance of M G Hegde, has been providing to the society graduates in fashion design and garment design. Many other collages have succeeded MIFT in the field all over the country.

All the Export garment industries are required to have an ISO certificate. As a result, keeping in their industry is helping them a lot.  Now the industry is appointing BSc.F D graduates with MBA, owing to which the standard and the quality of the industrial product has taken a new dimension. 

Former Udupi MP Vinaya Kumar Sorake, will inaugurate the college day program. The chief guests are Pradeep Kumar Kalkura, president of Kannada Sahitya parishad DK and Abdul Khaddar, AGM Syndicate Bank Kankanady.  Founder M G. Hegde will preside over the Function.

MIFT Students Raghavendra Hegde Ambika Rao Nawaz were also present at the press conference.
