Alva's gets cent percent result for sixth consecutive year

Moodbidri, May 13: Alva's high school here has achieved cent percent result for the sixth consecutive year in SSLC examination. Gokul Reddy from Kolar, a student of Alva's English medium high school has topped the region with 615 marks, said Alva's Education Foundation chairman, Mohan Alva, addressing a press conference here on Tuesday May 12.

Alva informed that out of 228 students who appeared for SSLC examination from Alva's, 149 had secured distinction, with 76 others getting first class. 17 of these students scored over 600, he explained.

'The Alva's high school students have also excelled in other activities too. 15 have passed junior level dance and music examination, and in sports, they have got 24 gold medals, 18 silver medals and seven bronze medals at the state level. They also have got 30 gold medals, and 13 silver medals at the national level. We also have ten students who got first prizes in Pratibha Karanji,' Alva explained, sharing his joy at the achievements of his students.

    One of the best Education Institutions in India,which is really supporting the students almost in every field like sports,cultural activities etc.Some students are getting free education too.I met him personally during an employment Mela in 2011.Mr.Alva is down to earth & ready to talk to any person,even small children.The result of the same is in front of us .Mr.Alva you are really a great Human being.keep up your good work.
