Mangalore, Apr 4: Nooruddin (30), a resident of Uppala bypass area, died on the spot when the motorcycle he was riding was hit by an Alto car on Tuesday.
He is said to have been on his way from the city towards Talapady on the Kerala highway. The mishap took place at Kumpala on the outskirts of the city.
The car arriving from the opposite direction hit the bike head-on, as a result of which Nooruddin was thrown off his bike. He reportedly died on the spot.
The Ullal police are investigating the case.
