Brahmavar, Apr 5: MGOCSM (Mar Gregoris Orthodox Christian Movement of India) is all set to create a music bash with the Baila Show by Mandd Sobhann troupe at the SMS Makkala Mantapa Brahmavar on April 8, 2007.

Fr Lawrence D'Souza vice president of MGOCSM speaking to daijiworld said that, the plan was to organize such events annually so that funds would be mobilized towards the SMS Old Age Homes in Brahmavar.

This year's event is sponsored by Ronald Colaco, a well-known NRI entrepreneur and 'Rachana' award winner.

Sona Bazaar, Udupi is the co-sponsor and thus the event is titled as ‘Sona Sambhram Baila’ Show

The popular Mandd Sobhann troupe which has been presenting Baila shows not only in Mangalore and around but all over India and worldwide, recently created sensation with their show in Goa on March 29.

During the event three eminent personalities will be felicitated by MGOSM for the meritorious services in their respective fields of expertise. They are, Konkani Sahitya Academy president Eric Ozario, Stephen Quadros Permude and Stany Rodrigues Heroor.

The show will start at 6.00 pm Sunday, April 8.
