London, May 31 (IANS): Singer Sam Smith has moved into a property next door to "Karma chameleon" hitmaker Boy George in the affluent area of Hampstead here.
The 23-year-old singer is currently recovering from surgery on his vocal cords and 53-year-old George said he is thrilled to be living near the talented star.
"He's bought the house next door to me in Hampstead. I saw him there the other day. He's a lovely guy. I met him just before he really blew up, which was a nice thing," George told The Sun newspaper, reports femalefirst.co.uk.
This recent purchase isn't the only thing Smith has to celebrate, as he has achieved a chart feat only previously accomplished by the Beatles, by spending almost a year in the top five of the British album charts, shifting in excess of a million copies in Britain alone.
