Panaji, Apr 21: INOX Leisure Ltd., which operates a chain of 14 multiplexes at premium locations in 12 cities across India, has been awarded the Emerging Superbrand award for 2006- 2007, reaffirming its status as India’s favourite movie destination.

The Superbrand award is known internationally as the ‘Oscars of Branding’. An independent council comprising many of India’s most eminent professionals conferred INOX Leisure Ltd. with this honor after a stringent selection criterion including market dominance, longevity and evolution; trust in the organization, customer loyalty and market acceptance which monitors the willingness of individuals to recommend the brand to others.

Alok Tandon, COO – INOX Leisure Ltd. says, “This is the first time that a multiplex brand has been chosen as a Superbrand and it is indeed a pleasure and privilege for us to be awarded Emerging Superbrand status in the fiercely competitive multiplex market.
