Doha: Gulf Incon sign agreement for Metabo floodlit cricket tournament

Doha, Jun 10: Gulf Incon have signed the sponsorship agreement for their annual Metabo floodlit cricket tournament. Incon has the distinction of sponsoring for the 21st consecutive year. 











At the signing ceremony were Adnan Al Mannai, managing director, general manager, Srinivasan Vaidyanathan, Metabo regional manager (Dubai) Marcel Cenia, Sajjad Ahmed Khan, sales manager- tools &and equipment and Qatar veterans’ league committee members.

Adnan praised the organizers of this prestigious tournament and confirmed his full support for the same. Marcel Cenia expressed his confidence that as usual the tournament will be played in the best of sporting spirits and wished luck to all participants.

The draws for the tournament are as follows:

Division-II
M Pallonji, Qalco, Hanan XII, ACC, Jaidah Motors, Engg Supplies, Tulu Koota, Delphi, Al Jazeera Media Network, Qatar Tec, Serandeep-A, Qatar Quarry

Division-II
Metabo, CDC, IIS, Serandeep-B, Al Fardan, UP XII, Lovely Little's, QVC, Gulf Lights, Al Shaqab Real Estate, Al Zaman Exchange, Force India

Top 2 teams from each pool qualify for the quarter-finals.

The tournament starts on Thursday June 18 and the finals are scheduled for Monday July 6. The tournament is will be conducted at the Old Ideal Indian School grounds near Midmac Roundabout. The matches of 12 overs duration will start at 9.00 pm, 2 matches are scheduled each night. All cricket enthusiasts are welcome to enjoy the competitive cricket matches.
