Mangalore, Apr 23: Two deacons of Mangalore diocese were ordained priests on Monday, April 23. Gulbarga Bishop Robert Miranda anointed the deacons at a ceremony in St Vincent Ferrar Church Valencia here.

The Solemn ordination was witnessed by religious priests and brothers, nuns and laity.

The newly-ordained priests Fr Cyril Lobo and Fr George Lobo will be rendering their service in Gulbarga Diocese.

Fr Cyril is the son of Felix and Evelyn Lobo of Nityadar Parish. Fr George is the son of Casmir and the late Magdaline Lobo of Shamboor Parish. Both completed their studies at St Joseph’s Seminary Jeppu.
