Andria D'Souza to play lead in 'For Adults Only'

Mumbai, Jun 15 (IANS): Dubai-based Andria D'Souza, who has worked in "Kamasutra 3D", will be playing the lead in filmmaker Faisal Saif's "boldest" and "dirtiest" multi-lingual film "For Adults Only", which is likely to feature international reality TV star Kim Kardashian in a cameo.

"This will be my debut as a solo lead. It's going to be a bold film but at the same time we'll keep the Indian sentiments intact in the story," Andria told IANS.

Said to be made in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu, the film will be produced by Dimension Films.

Asked what convinced her to accept the offer, she said: "Who would say no to an opportunity to work alongside Kim? Moreover, the script is literally amazing and it will be my pride to be working in the production of American studio Dimension Films".

Born and bred in Dubai, Andria started her career in advertising. Tired of the mundane 9 to 5 job, she worked as a radio jockey for a year and subsequently went on to win Miss Mangalore Dubai in 2009.

"I may have born in Dubai, but I'm very much an Indian with my roots in Mangalore. I've also worked as a video jockey for few years before landing an opportunity to work in 'Kamasutra 3D'," she added.

Andria has already shot for the film's teaser and is looking forward start shooting soon.

"There will be a brief workshop to get me prepared for the role. I'm quite excited because this is an important project in my career," she said.

Director Saif plans to start shooting by September, and also hopes to rope in a popular Tamil actor to essay an important role.
