Mangalore, Apr 25: The Mangalore Central Excise Commissionerate cricket team has won the 'Central Excise Mysore Zone Chief Commissioner's Cup held here in city recently.

The Mangalore Central Excise cricket team defeated Mysore Central Excise cricket team convincingly in the final to win the coveted trophy. Central Excise and Customs commissioner Dr John Joseph, team captain Santhosh Kumar and Stevan M P Dias excelled for the winners.
The same team had also won the 'Republic Day Cup' defeating Mangalore Income Tax team. This is another feather in the cup of Mangalore Central Excise Commissionerate which had crossed the target of revenue realization by Rs 800 crore during the year 2006-07.
