Taylor Swift, Selena Gomez may collaborate

Los Angeles, June 19 (IANS): Singers Taylor Swift and Selena Gomez reportedly "always" talk about collaborating together on a track.

"Selena and Taylor talk about music all the time. It wouldn't surprise me if they collaborate on something soon.

"But when they do decide to work on something together, they want it to be out of this world, and be about friendship, boys, and overcoming anything. They always talk about this when they see each other," a source was quoted as saying by hollywoodlife.com.

The duo are said to have even sat down together to discuss songwriting, with Gomez taking musical inspiration from the 25-year-old star.

"Taylor has sat down with Selena a few times to talk about the writing process. Despite all her success, she never comes off as arrogant or like a know-it-all. She just suggested a few things that helped her along the way, and now Selena has incorporated them into her music.

"Selena's written a lot more songs based on her personal experience and heartbreaks. It was Taylor that she drew inspiration from in that sense, who told her that's something she should really focus on, because it's what young people, especially young female fans, can relate to," the insider added.
