Mumbai, Jun 22: Actor Ravi Kishan has said that the trailer that is doing the rounds online of the yet to be released movie 'Mohalla Assi' is the uncut version, which probably people should take it with a pinch of salt as the movie will only be released after the Censor Board has approved of it.

The actor who is seen spewing verbal abuse like common place colloquial lingo was appalled at the gross abuse of the sanctity of the movie. He said, "The trailer, which has found its way on the internet is an uncensored video. I'm baffled how the trailer was stolen from the editing room, and how it was splashed on the web. We had tried our best to keep it under wraps, but I don't know what kind of thinking this offender has, who is out to destroy cinema."

The scene in the movie where one of the cast is seen dressed up an Lord Shiva, standing with one leg on Sunny Deol's chest and hurling expletives at him has come under intense scrutiny. Ravi clarified it by saying, "This scene would definitely not feature in the film, as I myself am a staunch devotee of Lord Shiva. You'll get better clarity if you read Kashinath Singh's upanyas(novel), as to why such scenes were shot." The scene has already brought on legal troubles on the movie, as several protestors have demanded that the scene be removed from the movie all together.
