Kangana on being valued by Bollywood, albeit she isn't 10 on 10

Mumbai, Jul 26: Queen actress Kangana doesn't give herself full marks dishing out hit films and getting the kind of work that the industry would only give artists that it really believed and valued a lot.

Speaking about her unusual career graph, the actress said, "It has been a roller-coaster ride; a completely unpredictable journey. When I joined the industry, I was a kid. I have been through a lot. Around that time, I could never imagine that I would ever see this day." She worked hard to turn all the odds in her favour and came back bigger and better. Explaining the recent success that she has seen, the actress said, “Every person has some special qualities. I am a very aware person; I can analyse the way I walk or talk. And I see constant growth in the way I conduct myself and the way I want to be. The kinds of films I’m doing validates the fact that I’m valued by the industry. I have not reached my 10 on 10 as of now. But as a person, I am very individualistic and extremely unusual. So, I should surely get a 10 on 10 for being the person I am (laughs)."

Despite a rocky start with unusual films and scandals Kangana has come into her own in the recent years and been praised for making it thus far without a godfather in the ruthless film industry that is Bollywood. She was part of the ensemble cast of hit films such as Life in a Metro and Fashion, and gave a performance that made people realise she was not part of the background design. She further became a known face not just for her looks but also for her talent with movies like Tanu Weds Manu and Queen. In between the hit films she had some hard-hitting ones that completely bombed at the box office.
