Mangaluru,Jul 29: Manipal Arogya Card 2015 – Small Card with Big Benefits – is a social initiative to provide quality healthcare at affordable cost to a large section of the society. Manipal Arogya Card scheme – Small card enables a member to avail large benefits by way of discounts on in-patient and out-patient treatment in various networked hospitals under Manipal Health Enterprises in Manipal, Mangaluru, Udupi and Karkala.

Announcing the extension of the date of enrolment, Dr (Col) M Dayananda, Medical Superintendent said "Owing to the popular demand, enrolment for Manipal Arogya Card 2015 is extented till August 22. The consultations with any specialist or super specialist doctor any number of times during the year paying only 50 per cent of consultation fee is the most attractive among the outpatient benefits of the card. A 20 per cent discount on diagnostics and laboratory investigations give considerable relief to the patient. There will be upto 10 per cent rebate on medicines purchased from hospital pharmacy with prescriptions. A flat 25 per cent concession on the in-patient bill (excluding consumables) for any number of times for one year and up to 10 per cent concession on medicines purchased from pharmacy”

The validity of these card starts from August 25 2015 to July 31, 2016.

Manipal Arogya Card is a unique scheme in which the discounts on treatment can be availed on pre-existing diseases and congenital anomalies as well. The scheme covers all medical and surgical cases and there is no upper limit or any restrictions on number of times of usage of the Arogya card.

Application for Manipal Arogya Card is available with Agents in all towns and at all networked hospitals under Manipal Health Enterprises and Syndicate Bank branches.
