Panaji, May 30: The Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) on Wednesday said that there is no doublespeak about UPA's choice on Indian presidential election.
"The party will support the candidate which is decided by UPA," NCP national president Sharad Pawar told reporters in Goa.
Pawar said that all the UPA constituents have decided that Congress should select such a nominee as would get support from the UPA partners.
He said that number of indepedents and other parties, too will support the UPA's candidate.
Ruling out any understanding with the NDA, Pawar said that whatever that has appeared in media is not true. "There is a thinking that UPA will contest both the seats of President and Vice President," he said.
