Aditi Rao, Madhur Bhandarkar to dazzle IIJW 2015 ramp

Mumbai, July 31 (IANS): Actress Aditi Rao Hydari and filmmaker Madhur Bhandarkar will add the celebrity quotient to the ramp of the India International Jewellery Week (IIJW) 2015 as the showstoppers for Yoube Jewellery.

A diamond jewellery design house, Yoube Jewellery will present its line for the first time at IIJW on August 5. While Bhandarkar will be opening the show, Aditi will close the show in the showstopper piece for their collection, read a statement from the organisers.

Amare, the line, is a conglomeration of European inspirations and Indian aesthetics statement pieces.

The brand's head Aakash Barmecha said: "I'm ecstatic about being a part of IIJW for the first time as it is the biggest platform for jewellers to display their creativity and talent. There has been a lot of hard work invested in the research and development, conceptualisation and execution of the jewels.

"We delayed participation in the previous years as we wanted to be completely ready for such a prestigious event. We have used state-of-the-art technology and innovative ideas to present a collection that will be sure to entice and enthrall."

The ensembles for the show, labelled 'The Venetian Ball', are designed by Komal Sood, a Kolkata-based designer.
