Ranveer Singh to endorse Quikr


New Delhi, Aug 5 (IANS): Bollywood's livewire talent Ranveer Singh has been roped in as the brand ambassador of Quikr with the aim to transfer his infectious energy into the cross category classifieds business platform.

The “Dil Dhadakne Do” actor says he relates with the brand’s ethos about turning your dreams into reality.

“The brand is constantly innovating its product to give their users the best experience, and that is something with which I can identify. The brand is about bettering yourself and reaching for your dreams and this is an important part of my journey as an actor as well,” Ranveer said in a statement.

The brand announced that Ranveer has been chosen as one of the official brand ambassadors of the online classifieds platform on Wednesday. The move is in line with Quikr’s new brand positioning of “Aasan hai badalna” and how change is essential to success, read a statement.

Pranay Chulet, the brand's founder and CEO, hopes to gain visibility with Ranveer's charm.

“Ranveer is an innovative, self-made star who stands out from the crowd. These qualities resonate with us and our journey towards market leadership. With his enormous talent and massive popularity, Ranveer’s association with Quikr will give our platform more visibility with a wider audience,” Chulet said.

The actor will also be seen in Quikr’s upcoming advertising campaign which is due to be launched later this month.

On the film front, the actor is charged up for his period drama “Bajirao Mastani", which also stars Deepika Padukone and Priyanka Chopra. It is slated to hit the theatres on December 18.
