Kavita Radheshyam's role in 'Amma' inspired by Barkha Dutt

Chennai, Aug 10 (IANS): Actress Kavita Radheshyam plays an investigative journalist in upcoming multilingual film "Amma". She says her role is inspired by well known television journalist Barkha Dutt.

"My role is inspired by Barkha Dutt. This role is quite similar to that of Rani Mukerji's role from the movie 'No One Killed Jessica'. She's a woman who will go to any extent to help the character of Jaya (played by Ragini Dwivedi)," Kavita told IANS.

"The film draws many incidents from real life and I'm honoured to share screen space with a star like Ragini," she said.

Directed by Faisal Saif, the film also features Prasant Narayanan, Pooja Misrra and Anjjan Srivestav in important roles. Bollywood actor Rajpal Yadav plays the main antagonist.

Produced by C.R. Manohar, the film will release in Hindi, Kannada, Tamil and Telugu worldwide in October.
