Aug 11 (Agencies): Days after the execution of Mumbai blasts convict Yakub Memon, MNS Chief Raj Thackeray pulled up the issue again and condemned everyone who supported Yakub Memon, including actor Salman Khan.
Slamming Salman Khan for his tweets in support of Yakub Memon, Raj Thackeray said that the actor is a man without brains, according to media reports.
The MNS chief also said that the actor doesn't read newspapers and is completely ignorant about the case. Thus, he went on tweeting in favour of Yakub.
When asked why did he visit Salman's residence after the latter was found guilty in the hit-and-run case, the MNS chief stated that he did so as he has good relations with the actor's father Salim Khan.
Following Supreme Court's confirmation on Yakub's death sentence, Salman had tweeted that Yakub Memon shouldn't be hanged for the crimes that his brother Tiger Memon has committed.
Later, on facing a backlash on social media, Salman retracted his tweets.
Besides Salman Khan, Raj Thackeray slammed the BJP government also and accused them of conspiring a riot in India.
