Mangalore, Jun 11: Fr Anil D'Souza, the parish priest of Gantalkatte took charge as new  director of ICYM of Mangalore diocese from the out-going director Fr  Elias D'Souza during the handing-over ceremony held in ICYM Youth Training Centre, Jeppu near here on Sunday  June 10 evening.

The handing over was done in the presence of Fr Vincent Monteiro, the bishop's representative for occasion. 

A stage programme was held after a short prayer on arrival of Fr Anil D’Souza from Gantalkatte. 

Later Fr Elias D'Souza introduced Fr Anil D'Souza to the gathering, welcomed him and handed over the documents of youth ministry.

Fr Anil D’Souza, in his maiden speech as youth director, called the youth to work without selfish motives or any hidden agenda.

Kevin D'Souza, the ICYM president welcomed the gathering and Melwyn Pernal proposed the vote of thanks. Marita D'Souza, the vice-president compered the programme.
