Kundapur, Jun.12: Fr Antony Lobo, while presiding over the annual function of the parish council of Holy Rosary Church her said that, the office-bearers were appointed for the proper and efficient management of the church affairs and to serve the community.

Ronad Rodrigues and Vinay Pais, the out-going vice-president and secretary, respectively, were felicitated for their selfless service and dedication for the all round development of the church.  Fr Lobo commended their service which should serve as the role model for the youth, to be engaged in community service and the society, in general.

Fr Antony Lobo administered the oath of office and secrecy to the new vice-president, Basil D’Souza and the new secretary, Diana D’Almeida, The Gurkars of 11 wards and 32 representatives besides appointed members of the parish council were present at the annual function. 

The out-going office-bearers thanked the congregation for their cooperation while the new office-bearers appealed for their support in conducing the official work and church affairs. Fr Prakash Cutinho of St Mary’s College compered the function.
