Chennai, Aug 26 (IANS): Actress Archana Sastry aka Veda, who is popular for her work in films such as "Mythri" and "Vegam", will be next seen in a Telugu horror-thriller "Hotel Red Rum", which will be made on the lines of "Texas Chainsaw Massacre".
The film will also be simultaneously shot in Tamil and Kannada.
"It's going to be a very interesting film. Although it will be as gruesome as 'Texas Chainsaw Massacre', we won't make it dirty. I'm really looking forward to this project because it'll be my first attempt at the horror genre," Archana told IANS.
"The 'Red Rum' in the title stands for murder when reversed," she said.
To be directed by Faisal Saif, the film will be produced by Dimension Pictures.
"We are likely to start shooting from October. There'll be some preparation before the shoot starts," she said.
The film will also feature popular faces from Tamil filmdom and the director is currently busy finalising his cast.
Meanwhile, Archana is listening to scripts in Telugu and she's on the verge of signing a Hindi film soon.
