Mangaluru, Aug 27: Bollywood actress and daughter of the soil, the gorgeous Shilpa Shetty visited Kateel Shree Durgaparameshewari Temple here on Thursday August 27 and offered special puja.
She then visited her ancestral house at Mudalady near Niddodi and offered puja to her family deities. Her son Viaan accompanied her and the family prepared 'neer dosa' specially for the little boy.
The mother and the son then played with a 15-day-old calf in the courtyard of the house and it was especially amusing as Shilpa talked to the calf in Tulu. Lensmen who gathered to capture the moment were delighted to watch little Viaan feed milk to the calf.
Speaking to media persons in Tulu thereafter, Shilpa said, "I love Tulunadu a lot. I often come to Kateel Durgaparameshwati Temple and visit my ancestral home in Mudalady."
Speaking on Tulu films she said, "I know that Tulu film industry has grown a lot. A good story is vital for the success of a film. I love Tulu film songs, especially I love the songs in Koti-Chennaya movie."
Asked if she would act in a Tulu movie in future, she replied, "I am right now busy with Hindi cinema. I got several offers from Kannada film industry too but I could not take them up due to my busy schedule."
Besides her son Viaan, her husband Raj Kundra, father Surendra Shetty, mother Sunanda Shetty also accompanied her. The family left for Subramanya and then to Dharmasthala. Shilpa, her husband and son would fly back to Mumbai on Sunday August 30.
