How did Sonakshi Sinha 'break her own record'?


Mumbai, Sep 1 (IANS): Actress Sonakshi Sinha, who is currently shooting for her film "Akira", says she has broken her own record by reaching the set very early.

The "Dabangg" actress, who is also judging the TV show "Indian Idol Junior" took to Twitter and seemed ecstatic as she reached the set 20 minutes early when nobody was present.

"Breaking my own records! Was up to reach shoot at 7:30 and here I am 20 minutes earlier. Not another soul on set. Reached Thane in 30 minutes," Sonakshi tweeted on Tuesday.

Being produced by Fox Star Studios, "Akira" is a thriller directed by A.R. Murugadoss.

The film is the Hindi remake of 2011 Tamil hit "Mounaguru" and also stars Konkona Sen Sharma, Anurag Kashyap and Shatrughan Sinha.

Sanjay Gupta shoots for 'Jazbaa' promotional video

Filmmaker Sanjay Gupta, who is currently waiting for the release of his forthcoming film "Jazbaa" starring Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Irrfan Khan, says that he is shooting the first promotional video for the film.

The "excited" filmmaker took to Twitter to share the news.

"Off to shoot! Very exciting day as we shoot the first promotional video for #JAZBAA.
I love shooting songs," Gupta tweeted.

In the film, Aishwarya is seen essaying the role of a lawyer named Anuradha Verma and Irrfan will be seen playing the role of a suspended cop.

Produced by Essel Vision, White Feather Films and Viking Entertainment, the film also has established actors Atul Kulkarni, Jackie Shroff, Chandan Roy Sanyal and Shabana Azmi along with Aishwarya.

"Jazbaa" is slated to release on October 9.

Megastar Amitabh Bachchan says that he had a "scintillating experience" attending a musical performance by the slum kids of Dharavi here.

The "Paa" actor took to Twitter, where he showed his support for the children from the "slums".

"Moments with the 'Dharavi Rock Band'... Scintillating experience... RJ Malishka and organisers, well done!! Kids from band of Dharavi, arguably world's largest slum, were all 'rag pickers'... Music changed them all," Bachchan tweeted on Tuesday.
