London, Sep 1: Internationally acclaimed author JK Rowling, whose seven book series about the wizard Harry Potter became a phenomenon worldwide, today wished her primary protagonist's son James Sirius Potter the very best of luck for his first day at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry.

JK Rowling, who is presently in Scotland, sent her wishes to the young wizard on the micro blogging site with the encouraging words, "I'm in Edinburgh, so could somebody at King's Cross wish James S Potter good luck for me? He's starting at Hogwarts today. #BackToHogwarts"

The comment got shared and liked by thousands almost instantly and many who commented exclaimed on how 19 years had passed since Harry Potter had defeated Voldemort on the grounds of Hogwarts back in 1998.

James Sirius is the older son of Harry Potter and Ginny Weasley who goes to school along with his brother Albus Severus while their little sister Lily Luna is yet to be old enough to go with them. Fans of JKR,really go on the train - of thought with many writing back that they had wished him on her behalf and relayed back that he was nervous about the sorting hat or that he had said thanks.

We wish him luck as well to get the Sorting Hat to put him in his father's house - Gryffindor.
