'Srimanthudu' collects Rs.154 crore in 25 days


Chennai, Sep 2 (IANS): Superstar Mahesh Babu's latest Telugu offering "Srimanthudu" has grossed Rs.154 crore in its 25-day-run so far at the ticket windows worldwide.

"'Srimanthudu' gallops at the worldwide box office grossing Rs.154 crore in just 25 days! It continues its soaring success becoming the second highest grossing Telugu release this year after 'Baahubali'," read a statement from Eros International, which distributed the film globally.

Directed by Koratala Siva, the film is about a young man who decides to adopt a village and the challenges he faces in the process.

Also starring Shruti Haasan, Jagapathi Babu and Rajendra, the film was jointly produced by Mahesh and Mythri Movies.
