Mangalore, Jun 29: Former president of Kanara Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KCCI) Kalbhavi Venkat Rao (81) passed away on Thursday June 28.

K V Rao was the first representative of KCCI to be nominated to the board of trustees of New Mangalore Port Trust.

He is survived by his wife Mahalakshmi, sons Ramesh Rao and K Gopalkrishna Rao, and daughters K Uma and K Rama.
