New Delhi, Sep 10 (IANS): Amid talks between NDA allies on seat sharing for the assembly polls in Bihar, Rashtriya Lok Samata Party (RLSP) chief Upendra Kushwaha said on Thursday that his party has decided that the final decision on the seat distribution should be taken by the BJP.

In a letter to Bharatiya Janata Party president Amit Shah, Kushwaha, who is union minister of state for human resource development, said the biggest issue for his party was to free the people of Bihar from the "anti-people" Nitish Kumar government and its only priority was the state's progress.

"Hence we have decided that that the final decision on seat allocation should be taken by BJP led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. We have full faith in the leadership of the prime minister and Amit Shah," Kushwaha said in his letter.

He said his party has full faith that all four parties in the National Democratic Alliance will get a "massive mandate" from Bihar's people who were suffering from poverty, unemployment and bad governance in all areas.

"Our priority is that Bihar is rebuilt and reaches pinnacle of progress. Farmers get their right, youth get new avenues of employment and all sections get respect and justice," Kushwaha said.

The Election Commission announced a five-phased election in Bihar on Wednesday. The BJP-led NDA is taking on the combine of ruling Janata Dal-United, the Rashtriya Janata Dal and Congress.

While the alliance of JD-U, RJD and Congress has decided on seats to be contested on each of the constituents, the BJP-led alliance is still having talks on the issue.
