Udupi, Sep 12: JCI Udyavara-Kuthpady, Zone XV – Region 'C' will be celebrating 'JC Saptha 2015', a grand week commencing on Sunday September 13. Various programs have been organized on this occasion marking the event.
The organization will conduct 'JC Raja and JC Rani 2015' for the age group of 1-6 years, 7-10 years and 11-14 years. It will be the first of its kind as it is conducted on the basis of reality shows wherein the participants will be judged on the basis of best vocal (best singer) and dressing sense. The judging panel is glamorous with actors from Tulu Filmdom judging the event. Actress Sonal of the famous 'Eka Saka' and 'Jai Tulunad', actor Avinash Shetty of 'Jai Tulunad' and actress Shreya will make up the panel. Attractive cash prizes will be provided for the winners of all the three categories. JC Rajendra Bhat, JC National Trainer and anchor of Yuva Spandan TV will be anchoring the entire fashion show event. This event will commence at 4 pm, at Saundharya Residency, Udyavar.
The other programs for the week are, Monday September 14, a session on 'The Art of Effective Public Speaking' by JC Suhan Sasthan at 2 pm, at Government High School, Udyavar.
Tuesday September 15, 'Creative artifact' (waste to wealth) at 2pm, at Hindu Higher Primary School, Melpete, Udyavara, by Yashodha Sanil.
Wednesday September 16, 'Awareness on Bad Habits' training session by Dr Premananda (DMO), Zilla Health Department, at 2 pm, at St Francis Xavier Kannada High School, Udyavar.
Thursday September 17, distribution of compensation to the students of Spandhana Rehabilitation centre, Nejar, Santhekatte, at 10.30 am, in the presence of Ramananda, owner, Gayathri Digital Palace, Kinnimulky, Udupi.
Friday September 18, 'Demonstration on Fire and Safety' at St Francis Xavier English Medium School, Udyavar at 2 pm, in the presence of Shivappa Gowda, station in-charge, dept fire brigade, Udupi.
Saturday September 19, information on and competitions for healthy infants, Saundharya Residency, Udyavara, in collaboration with Primary Health Centre, Moodbettu and resource person Dr Jyothsna, officer, Primary Health Centre.
The whole week's celebration of 'JC Saptha' will come to an end on Sunday September 20, with the valedictory function at 5.30 pm at Saundharya Residency, Udyavara followed by 'Kade Kodi Comedy' a comedy session by Vismaya Vinayaka Group, Sulliya at 7 pm.
