Mangaluru: Knocked down by truck, scooter rider loses life

Mangaluru, Sep 16: After a truck hit a scooter near Jappinamogaru here on Tuesday September 15, the two-wheeler rider suffered grave injuries and passed away.

The deceased was Muhammed Basheer (35), resident of Deralakatte Madaga near the city. Basheer had visited the city for some purpose, and was returning home in his scooter, when a truck loaded with fish hit his vehicle from behind.

A case about this incident was registered in the city rural police station.
