Mangaluru, Sep 16: The new branch of Bengaluru-based Oasis Holidays group was inaugurated by Archbishop of Bengaluru Dr Bernard Moras at Milagres View building, Falnir Road here.
The Archbishop also blessed the new branch with holy water and divine invocation.
Addressing the gathering after the inauguration, Dr Moras said, "The mission of Oasis has to be taking devotees to pilgrimage and holy places. It should not be confined to buisness activity, rather it should be a missionary activity. The travel to Holy Land should make Christians conform with thier faith even after they return."
Fr Valerian D'Souza the parish priest of Milagres church, MLA J R Lobo, Mayor Jacintha Alfred, former MLA Ivan Nigli, CEO Regi Mathew, managing director Tino Thomas with wife Pratibha Tino, directors Federico Aldrighetti and Thomas Chacko with wife Mariamma Chacko, general manager of Holidays (India) Pvt Ltd Shine Thomas, and others were present.
