Mangalorean Anushka Shetty Rocks in Telugu Filmdom

Sweety Shetty, better known as Anushka Shetty, is an actress in the Kollywood and Tollywood industries. She debuted in Nagarjuna's "Super",and her debut film in Tamil was Rendu with R Madhavan.
Anushka did her schooling in Mangalore. She hails from the well-known 'Bellipady' family of the Bunt community. Her mother-tongue is Tulu.
After completing graduation in Computer Applications, (BCA) from Bangalore University), she learned Yoga from the famour Yoga guru Bharat Thakur. Then she became a Yoga instructor.
Puri Jagannath happened to see Anushka through another director and she got selected for the movie "Super". Her acting in Vikramarkudu wide appreciation from the critics. In Tamil, she starred opposite Madhavan in Rendu.
She is 100% Vegetarian.Her hobby is collecting news articles of all natural disasters.
Her next movie is "Don". After Mass, it is Don for the successful combo of hero Akkineni Nagarjuna and choreographer turned- filmmaker Raghava Lawrence.
But this Don is different and he is not one of those mafia Dons, says the director. He sure takes on anti-social elements and his very name spells danger for them, but he does not indulge in underworld activities.He saves the good and punishes the bad wherever they are hidden.
Anushka plays his love interest.The team has kept under wraps other story details to keep the suspense intact. It is said that the film is going to be a trendsetter. Producer ML Kumar Chowdhary said that recently the unit shot a song and action episodes at specially erected sets in Ramoji Film City, Hyderabad.
Like most of the girls from Bollywood, Anushka Shetty, has been bowled by the beauty and hospitality of Hyderabad. So much so that she is searching for a flat in Jubilee Hills to stay back.
Anushka, who has acted with Vishnu in "Astram" and with Ravi Teja in "Vikramarkudu" is learning Telugu fast, so that she could settle in Tollywood. She says the working atmosphere in Telugu film industry was superb and that she would be willing to work more here than in other languages.
By the way, Anushka doesn't prefer to partying quite often, but wants to spend time with family members at home!
