Kundapur, Jul 8: A passenger was killed when bus he was travelling in rolled into a gorge here at Ottinene on Saturday night.
The bus was plying towards Bhatkal from Kundapur.
The incident occurred at 11 pm while the driver lost control over the bus and the bus rolled into 20-foot-deep gorge.
The deceased person has been identified as Nisar Ahmad (45), a resident of Bhatkal. Six others were also injured and they included the driver and the conductor.
Sources said that only 5 passengers were travelling on that bus.
