Moodlakatte Institute of Technology Kundapur observes Engineers’ day

Kundapur, Sep 18: Moodlakatte Institute of Technology (MITK) Kundapura observed Engineers’ day in memory of Sir Mokshagundam Visvesvaraya at the college campus of MIT,Kundapura here on Tuesday, September 15.







The programme was inaugurated by garlanding the Visionary Sir M Visvesvaraya’s Statue by the Chairman Siddartha Shetty, Dr Shubha P Bhat, Principal and Prof Shashikala, HOD of Civil Engineering Cepartment.

Prof Shashikala in her remarks pointed out the extraordinary qualities of Sir M Vishvesvaraya and urged the students to set him as their role model in order to be great engineers with technical skills as well as personal qualities.

First monthly news letter of MITK featuring colourful events of the campus was released by the Chief editor Naveen B M, HOD of electronics and communication engineering department on this occasion.

Prize distribution was held in MITK campus for the winners of various competitions and toppers of the academic year 2014-15 for the students of MITK as a part of the observance of engineers' day.

Sharol D’Silva, Final year Civil Engineering branch, welcomed the gathering.

Magzine committee members and HODs of various departments and public relation officer S Abdul Rahiman were present.
