Kundapur, Sep 20: "Broad-mindedness is gradually disappearing from our world. A broad mindset is necessary to change the society. Prosperity is possible only if institutions unite. "Today, poverty in India is not as much as it was before Independence. There are more opportunities now. Society has changed a lot. Everyone should think about leading a cultured life away from bad habits. If we follow the path of righteousness, then we can achieve anything with God's grace," Dr Heggade added.
"Lord Ganesh is dependable. He is omnipresent. He is adored and venerated throughout the world. Devotees should seek God in order to feel His presence. The objective of public celebration of Ganesh Chaturthi is uniting people and bringing in religious awareness," he said.
