Mangaluru, Sep 21: An accident between a scooter and a tanker at Padil junction here on Sunday, September 21 resulted in the death of the rider.
The deceased has been identified as Joyson Noel Sequeira (21) from Niddel, Padil.
Joyson was riding home from a shop at Padil junction when the tanker hit his Honda Activa. The tanker was plying from BC Road to Mangaluru. Joyson was rushed to hospital but succumbed to injuries later.
Joyson was an electrician by profession. He is survived by mother and two sisters.
Mangaluru rural police have registered a case.
Joyson’s father had died 13 years ago. His elder sister is married. He was the breadwinner of the family and lived with mother and younger sister.
