New Delhi, Jul 10: After a booklet by a party colleague on allegations against UPA -Left presidential candidate Pratibha Patil, a senior BJP leader on Tuesday launched a website which, he claimed, “provides extensive information with proper references" about Pratibha.

The website, along with a booklet, was launched by BJP leader Arun Jaitley at a press conference held at the official residence of former BJP president Venkaiah Naidu.

"The voter has a right to information about the candidate he is voting for. This effort is intended for a informed choice of the electorate," Jaitley told reporters.

When asked if there was any plan to launch a website for National Democratic Alliance-supported candidate Bhairon Singh Shekhawat, Jaitley said, "It was not required."

The website has been developed by a group called 'India Projects' and the BJP was "supportive of such initiatives," Jaitley said.
