Udupi: Ashrayadata K Ramesh Shetty to receive Bharat Jyoti Award

Udupi, Sep 23: Ashrayadata K Ramesh Shetty will be conferred the ‘Bharat Jyoti Award’ by Citizens Integration Peace Society, New Delhi at a conference on ‘Bapu’s vision, its relevance today'. The conference will be held at Teen Murti Bhavan of Chanakyapuri auditorium, New Delhi on Thursday October 1.

The award will be presented by former governor of Kerala, Sheela Deekshit. Former governor Dr Bheeshmanarayan Singh, former governor of Sikkim, B P Singh, Goa governor, Dr Mrudula Sinha and others will be present.

Ramesh Shetty is a social worker and founder of Ashrayadata Auto Union, Udupi. He has served many poor families by contributing new homes and providing financial support to patients.

Bharat Jyoti Award certificate of excellence recognizes the meritorious services, outstanding performance and remarkable role in society.
