B'luru: Suspects arrested for sending girls to hotels for prostitution

Bengaluru, Sep 24: CCB police on September 23 have arrested 5 suspects accused of sending girls for prostitution to customers staying at prestigious hotels.

The arrested suspects are identified as Assam resident Dinesh Rabidas (21), Odisha resident Mithun Das(20), Odisha resident Lochan Behara(55), Tumkur resident Thimmaraju(25) and Sri Rampura, Bengaluru resident Gautham(24).

The police have rescued a Calcutta resident girl who was forced into prostitution. They have recovered five mobile phones and condoms from the accused. A case is registered against the five accused and the absconding suspects Babu, Shikha, Krishna, Zakir, Moin and Virat in Ulsoor police station.

Investigations have revealed that the absconding Shikha was making the girls believe that they will be employed in beauty parlours but instead they were being sent to prestigious hotels for prostitution by Krishna and tempted with more earnings. It is said that the arrested suspects were also sending girls to the hotels through pimps for illegal monetary gain.
