Mangaluru, Sep 26: At the 60th annual general meeting of The Karnataka Cashew Manufacturers Association held on September 25, Bola Rahul Kamath, M/s Bola Surendra Kamath and Sons, Kedinje was reelected as president for the year 2015-16 unanimously.

In his acceptance speech he reiterated the need to focus efforts on increasing raw cashew nut production as the cashew processing industry in Karnataka is growing at 20% year on year.

Other office-bearers and committee members elected for the year 2015-2016 are:
Vice president- Krishnanath Mallar of Mallar Exports Pvt Ltd, Udupi
Treasurer- Santhosh D’Silva of Santhosh Cashews, Karkala
Secretary- M Tukaram Prabhu of M Madhavaraya Prabhu, Mangaluru
Joint secretary- D Gopinath Kamath, Chithara Cashews, Udupi
