Mangalore, Jul 16: Ullal MLA U T Khader and his supporter Ashraf survived in a road mishap that took place near Madikeri on Monday July 16 morning.
He was on his way to Bangalore when his car met skidded off the road at Kushalnagar near Madikeri, on July 16 early morning.
His car rolled over on a sloppy road with many curves which the driver, Ashraf was not familiar with. However both of them escaped unscathed. Locals said that a great danger was awaiting them if the car had spun a little further where the gorge existed.
They informed the police soon after the mishap from their mobiles. The car was partially damaged. Nevertheless, MLA Khader has managed to reach Bangalore safely.
“I cannot believe it was an accident. I felt like a dream. I have survived owing to the blessings of the voters and by the grace of God,” said MLA U T Khader later.
