Monthi Fest: Konkani Catholic Welfare Association, Bhayandar West

Mumbai, Sep 29: Konkani Catholic Welfare Association, Bhayandar celebrated their Monthi Fest on Sunday September 13 at Our Lady of Nazareth Church Hall under the leadership of president George Sequeira, Bhayandar West.

The programme started at 9 am with a Konkan mass and offering flowers to the decorated statue of Infant Mary. That was followed by ea, snacks and cultural programme.

Lenisha Pereira presented a welcome dance. Children presented a group dance. Several songs and skits were staged. George Sequeira beautifully anchored the programme. Delicious Novem Jevonn was served to all.

    It was a joyful celebration with family and friends.

    It reminds us our childhood days at native place.

    These programs encourages all our current generation specially children and youths to speak & respect our Mother tongue KONKANI.
