Mangaluru, Aug 7: Kadri Cricketers Club ® and Asare Friends Kadri showed a kind gesture towards 48-year-old Yashoda, who lives in a crumbling and dilapidated house at Shivbagh.

On August 5, Daijiworld had published a report titled ‘Alone and Forgotten: Woman Lives in Crumbling House in Heart of Mangaluru’ about 48-year-old Yashoda.

Yashoda resides in her ancestral house at Shivbagh 5th cross. Her mother passed away in 2012, and since then, Yashoda, who is unmarried, has lived alone.

Soon after Daijiworld reported the news, gestures of support poured in from all over Mangaluru to help Yashoda in terms of food, house renovation, and more. White Doves founder Corrine Rasquinha also visited her house and offered assistance.

On August 6, Kadri Cricketers Club ® and Asare Friends Kadri immediately visited the house and offered help to Yashoda.

Kadri Cricketers Club ®, led by its president Gaurav G Kadri, and Dinesh Kadri, president of Asare Friends Kadri, have provided three meals a day, repaired the partially collapsed wall of the house, installed a fan and lights, and cleaned the surroundings of the house.
