Puttur: KSRTC bus falls into ravine, one injured

Puttur, Sep 30: A KSRTC sleeper coach bus plying from Bengaluru to Mangaluru, tumbled and fell into a ravine by the side of the road in Uppinangady in the wee hours of Tuesday September 29.




The accident occurred as the driver Parameshwara had driven the bus in the opposite direction at Dorme near Perne close to the garden drain. Bus conductor Radhakrishna has been injured in the accident.

There were only five passengers in the bus and they escaped with minor injuries. Puttur traffic police have registered a case.
