Beltangady, Jul 27: A man was hit by a bus in the bus stand here on Thursday, July 26.
The deceased has been identified as Abubakkar (70). The KSRTC bus rammed into him from the rear side while he was alighting from another bus. Immediately he was taken to a hospital, but he died late in the night. A case has been registered at Beltangady police station.
Locals here complain that several accidents have been taking place here because of lack of traffic management and have urged the authorities to post traffic policemen on busy road.
