Mangalore, Jul 29: A gambling den near Urwa Store was raided by the Bajrang Dal activists on Saturday July 28.

According to informed sources, a shop at Urwa being used for the purpose of gambling  where one had to pay Rs 10 and throw a ball. The winner would get Rs 20.

This was brought to the notice of the Bajrang Dal. The raided the shop and urged the shopkeeper to close it down the shop.

While the next-door shopkeepers kept wondering it that amounted to ‘gambling’ as laid down under the laws, it was no less surprising that the shop was not damaged or ransacked as it is usually being done by the moral police.

Kadri Inspector M K Ganapathi and Urwa police arrived on the spot and the activists were heard asking the police to file a case against the shop.

The police are inquiring into the matter.

While not going into details, Joe D'souza has raised a valid point about the so-called moral brigade. It is rather surprising that their energy only exists when they see businesses owned or activities done by other religions. People belonging to their own religion can get away by doing anything, but others need to abide by their rules.

Mr. Joe D'Souza, my humble request to you is please be to the point. You wanted to critisize Bajrang Dal, fine -please do it. I am noway impressed with bajrangdal activites as well (nor those of moral polices of other religions). But your comments on pornography done by Hindus was out of context and I feel was totally unwarranted for. You seemed to have a good database of bluefilms and done 'Extensive-Research' on the religion of each actors in those films. Please note - good people or bad people are not confined to ANY religion.

One good act by moral Police. Now I have a question about these moral Police activists  These activists are there always to punish Muslim or Christian Men if they are with Hindu girls. They may be lovers, just friends or classmates. It does not matter to them at all. T

hese activists are hell bent to take revenge. Where is the Moral Value of these so called Hindu Moral activists, when their own Hindu brother nude Photos of beautiful Hindu Sisters (girls)to make X rated,so called Blue Film and selling it. Now these Hindu girls can be seen in their birthday suit,by Muslim and Christian men all over the country, through CDs and through Mobile screen.

It is same as Cow Slaughter mania. It is okay for Hindu farmer to sell the cattle for slaughter and make money. But it is not okay for other community member to transport it. It is not morally correct for Muslim or Christian Hotel to sell Beef curry or sukka. But it is okay for Hindu owned Chinese Cuisine to sell Beef chilli or fry with Capsicum and onion.

It is also Okay for Hindu Cook to taste it. For Moral Police, Gambling by throwing balls or darts is not okay. They shut the shop door tight on gambling. But it is okay for them to bet on Cock fight(Kori Katta)spending Rs.800 or more to buy a Fighting Cock bird and bet atleast thousand rupees on each fight. This is called a fake drama of Moral Police to swindle the public, garnish publicity and win votes for certain party.
