Kundapur, Jul 29: Mankatte Muttayya Hegde (91) Karnataka state award winner, senior Advocate and Manakatte Brhamalingeshwara Yakshagana Mandali convener, passed way here on Sunday July 29.

M M Hegde served Manakatte Brhmmalingeswara Yakshgana Mandali for 28 years as a convener.

He is survived by three sons and two daughters.
