Photos of hug given at anti-Islam demonstration go viral

Oct 16 (Agencies): A heart-warming video of an anti-Islam protester and a Muslim woman hugging each other at Noor Islamic Cultural Centre in Ohio has gone viral.

The protest was staged by a lone woman named Annie as a part of the world-wide anti-Muslim rallies.

After she arrived at the mosque with placards and banners, she met a group of Muslims who argued with her.

Annie told the guy who wanted to befriend her that they can't be friends as he is a Muslim. She referred to Islam as “a glorified death cult.”

As the interaction was gradually getting more intense, a Muslim woman walked in.

In the video, the Muslim woman, Cynthia Eugenia Cox DeBoutinkhar, is seen walking up to the protester and asking her, "Can I hug you?"

Before Annie could respond, Cox DeBoutinkhar hugged her, explained to her that she came for peace and invited her into the mosque.

The video has gone viral on the internet, with 150000 views on YouTube and over 2000 shares of Cox DeBoutinkhar's Facebook post.
