Udupi, July 30: The 74th Akhila Bharatha Kannada Sahitya Sammelana (74th All-India Kannada Literary Conference) will be held here from October 25 to October 28.
Prof Sheshagiri Rao will preside over the function. He is a professor in English as well as a well-known critic and a Kannada writer.
Vyasaraya Ballal, a renowned novelist, is likely to inaugurate the convention, and the 74th conference will follow the tradition of the conference held at Shimoga. The chief minister will be invited to the valedictory function, said Jaraganahalli Shivashankar honorary secretary of the foundation, in a press conference here.
