London, Aug 8: Portuguese star Cristiano Ronaldo is eyeing a Premier League and UEFA Champions League double for Manchester United this season.

The 22-year-old, who inspired the club to the Premiership title and Champions League semi-final last season, told the club's website that the signing of Nani, Anderson, Owen Hargreaves and Carlos Tevez means more silverware is on its way to Old Trafford.

"Our team is stronger than last season," he said. "It is always difficult to win the Premier League but we have acquired four great players so we don't want to win just the league, we want the Champions League as well."

Welsh international Ryan Giggs is also excited about Tevez's move to United.

The Argentine is set to complete the transfer after West Ham United agreed to a 2 million pound settlement for the 23-year-old forward. Tevez has already passed the medical at Old Trafford and now waits for the paperwork to be completed, the website adds.

Giggs was impressed with Tevez after training with the Argentine international and reckons the new addition will give the team "an extra dimension".

Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson plans to give Tevez his club debut Wednesday night and Giggs cannot wait to play alongside him.

"I'm really excited. He trained with us Friday and he fitted in straightaway. He's a quality player - we saw that towards the end of last season with West Ham. We've plenty of attacking options this season and it will keep all the players on their toes," said Giggs.
